Foundation's Mission

#1 Mission: to help you return to doing what you love to do! Endurance and strength-based injuries are frustrating and often recurring without a specific direction of care.

Renee is able to provide a more personal, in depth, and highly specialized therapy experience through one-on-one care. One-on-one care allows her the time to listen to understand the intricacies of your training history and injury and support you through your journey back to sport.

Renee’s goal is to help you get to know yourself. How you move, how you train, how you recover, and how you make decisions around fueling and training habits all play a roll in the recovery and healing process.

Common Endurance and Strength-Based Injuries/Medical Conditions Treated:

Stress Fractures, Achilles Tendinopathy, Ankle Sprains, Calf Strains, Plantar Fasciopathy, Neuroma, Plantar Plate Tear, Peroneal Tendinopathy, Knee + Hip Osteoarthritis, Patellar Tendinopathy, High Hamstring Tendinopathy, Hamstring Strains, Hip Labral Pathology, Femoral Acetabular Impingement (FAI), Gluteal Tendinopathy, Osteitis Pubis, Low Back Pain, Osteopenia, Osteoporosis, and Shoulder Pain.

I have been to other physical therapists without much success, but Renee got me back to running pain-free in two sessions. She is wildly knowledgeable about bodies and triathlon sports and all of the complex systems that feed into sports performance (nutrition, sleep, hormones, etc). If you are lucky she also sometimes drops life wisdom that she somehow knows you need to hear. I love working with her and highly recommend her for running and in general!

Renee Hodges is the most reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable healthcare professional I’ve ever worked with. Under Renee’s PT care and coaching throughout the years, I have successfully completed seven marathons, four of which were Boston Marathon Qualifiers (BQs).
What differentiates Renee from all other professionals I have seen in the past is that she really takes the time to listen carefully to my issues and concerns, she asks great questions, and works with me on tackling the root cause, which most of the time is through simple strengthening. Her follow-up skills are also very impressive!
